Welcome to Inkling — our compact campervan, set up for comfortable, flexible trips.
It’s small enough to feel easy to drive and park, but thoughtfully arranged so you can settle in and enjoy your time away.
To make you feel at home right away, tea and coffee (caff and decaf) and a few essentials will be waiting for you — so you can but the kettle on as soon as you are ready for a cuppa.
We are big fans of public transport, arrive at Oxford Station and we will collect you.

Why “Inkling”?
The Inklings were a group of Oxford writers including C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, known for stories of adventure, imagination, and setting off into the unknown.
It also reflects how many trips begin — with just an inkling of an idea, and no fixed plan beyond that.
That’s very much the spirit of Inkling, and also why there is a pen in the Inkling logo.
Inkling in brief
Pick up and drop off in Oxford (with space for your car on our drive)
Seats 2–5 (3 Isofix points)
Sleeps up to 4 (2 in the van, 2 in the pop-top)
Fully insured for UK (trip tp Europe 2027)
Compact size (~1.85m wide) — well suited to narrow roads and most campsites
Inkling works well for a range of trips — from simple touring breaks to longer stays with more space using the optional tent.
Need extra space?
We offer a free 2 man pop up tent and or as an optional extra an airbeam tent (£30 per trip). Sleeps 3-4

From £50 a day plus fixed booking fee of £60 per trip
